Job summary

BD is hiring a Technical Support Specialist 2 in the United States (Arizona). The role focuses on resolving time-sensitive issues, handling escalations, and coordinating with field service for ES 1.1x upgrade activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electronic Technologies or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• Proficient in SQL with 2+ years experience; ability to write queries (SELECT/JOIN).
• Experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
• Experience with SQL Reporting Services and Windows Server (2008+).
• Networking concepts, IIS and Web App administration, and VMware familiarity.
• Knowledge of group policies and XML; ability to review logs (OS and app).
• Understanding of BD products, ES 1.1x remediation, and hospital IT environments.
• Ability to work flexible hours and remote from home office.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ES 1.1x upgrade team to ensure timely support.
• Maintain compliance with ES 1.1x remediation regulatory requirements.
• Expand knowledge of ES 1.1x to troubleshoot and support.
• Provide customer service support via phone and email with quality service.
• Document case notes with high data quality (Salesforce).
• Provide progress updates and gather customer feedback to ensure needs are met.
