BD is seeking a Technical Support Specialist 2 to assist with ES 1.1x upgrades and remediation in a remote-capable role. You will work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex issues, maintain product knowledge, and ensure high-quality customer service across email and phone channels.

The role emphasizes collaboration, documentation, and alignment with BD Total Rewards policies. Training combines eLearning and shadowing with on-the-job coaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years in computer science/electronic technologies or equivalent.
• 2+ years of Microsoft SQL experience with ability to write and analyze queries.
• Exposure to SSIS and SQL Reporting Services.
• Experience with Windows Server and desktop administration.
• Knowledge of networking, ports, and XML language.
• Experience reviewing application and OS logs and troubleshooting.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with a cross-functional ES 1.1x upgrade team to coordinate support.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements for ES 1.1x remediation.
• Maintain and expand knowledge of ES 1.1x for troubleshooting and support.
• Provide customer service support and timely case updates.
• Use phone/email channels effectively and document notes with high data quality.
• Demonstrate understanding of BD products and hospital IT environments.
