Job summary

BD is seeking a Technical Support Specialist 2 to resolve complex issues, escalate customer concerns, and dispatch field service as needed. You will work on ES 1.1x upgrade support, collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring regulatory compliance across the remediation process.

The role requires a strong SQL background, Windows Server administration, and experience with BD products in healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• Microsoft SQL experience (2+ years).
• Must write queries and analyze SQL data (SELECT and JOIN statements).
• SSIS exposure/experience.
• SQL Reporting Services.
• Windows Server (2008+) and Desktop Administration (Win7+).
• Networking topology and commands.
• IIS and Web Application Administration.
• Group Policies terminology and administration.
• VMware terminology and administration.
• Application installation and troubleshooting.
• Ports (Networking/OS).
• Understanding of XML language (1+ year).
• Ability to review application and OS logs (2+ years).
• Flexible in working hours to meet remediation team needs.
• Remote position working from home office.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ES 1.1x upgrade team to ensure timely communication and coordination of support.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements for ES 1.1x remediation.
• Maintain and expand knowledge of ES 1.1x for troubleshooting and support.
• Provide customer service support and drive quality in outcomes.
• Document case notes with high data quality and integrity (Salesforce).
• Provide progress updates to customers and seek feedback to meet needs.
• Demonstrate understanding of BD products in customer environments.
