Job summary

BD is seeking a Technical Support Specialist 2 to resolve complex, time-sensitive issues across the Medstation ecosystem. You will handle escalations, server-to-station troubleshooting, and coordination with field service for ES 1.1x upgrades.

Role emphasizes regulatory compliance, thorough case documentation, and strong customer communication. Remote work from a home office is possible, with on-site expectations as per BD requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electronic Technologies or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft SQL experience.
• Must be able to write queries and analyze SQL data (Select/Join).
• SSIS exposure/experience.
• SQL Reporting Services.
• Windows Server (2008+) and Desktop Admin (Win7+).
• Networking topology, terminology, commands.
• IIS and Web App Administration.
• Group Policies Administration.
• VMware terminology and administration.
• Application installation and troubleshooting.
• XML language experience.
• Review of application and OS logs (2+ years).
• Flexible working hours for remediation team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ES 1.1x upgrade team to ensure timely communication of support.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements for ES 1.1x remediation.
• Maintain knowledge of ES 1.1x for troubleshooting and support.
• Provide customer service support and progress updates.
• Document case notes with high data quality in Salesforce.
• Demonstrate understanding of BD products in customer environments.
• Support remote troubleshooting and escalations on the 1.1x channel.
