Job summary

CLF Consultants LLC is hiring entry-level, fully remote Medical Support Assistants to support the VA VISN 19 Office of Community Care. You will schedule primary care visits, specialty clinic appointments, and community care consults for Veterans and families across the VISN 19 region.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least six months of customer service experience, and the ability to work from a private home workspace within 50 miles of a VA Medical Center.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of customer service experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Typing speed of 50 words per minute.
• United States citizenship and ability to pass a federal background check.
• Proficiency in English, with a quiet home workspace within 50 miles of a VISN 19 VA Medical Center.

Responsibilities

• Schedule Veteran appointments for primary care and specialty clinics.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information.
• Document interactions in CPRS and VistA with accuracy.
• Coordinate with care teams and escalate issues.
• Maintain confidentiality and complete cybersecurity and HIPAA training.
• Provide professional customer service via phone and secure channels.
