Job summary

Indigo is seeking a non-clinical healthcare operations associate to engage with patients, collect medical histories, and help ensure records are accurate. You will work with templates and training to document thoroughly in English and Spanish.

The role is hybrid with one week in San Mateo for onboarding and then a flexible mix of remote work with one day per week in the office. You will follow established workflows and partner with the operations team to improve processes in healthcare delivery.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish is required.
• Remote schedule with structured onboarding.
• Structured onboarding and training provided.
• One week of in-person onboarding at San Mateo location.
• Hybrid role with 1 day in the San Mateo office.
• Hourly rate of $25/hr.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calls with patients (in English and Spanish) to gather detailed medical and injury histories
• Listen actively and document information with a high level of accuracy using structured templates and internal systems
• Review medical records for completeness, clarity, and internal consistency
• Organize and standardize medical information to meet quality and documentation standards
• Ensure patient histories are thorough, consistent, and easy for physicians to interpret
• Review your work carefully to maintain a high standard of accuracy
• Follow established workflows and documentation protocols
• Partner with the operations team to continuously improve processes and quality
