Guidehouse is seeking a Medical Coding Supervisor to lead inpatient, outpatient, and pro fee coding teams remotely across the US. The role includes training, QA reviews, and ensuring accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and PCS coding in line with CMS, AMA, and payer guidelines.

Strong communication with clients and providers is required. The position demands a university degree, 5+ years coding experience, and active credentials (RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CPC, or COC).

Qualifications

• Requires a university degree and 5+ years in medical coding.
• 3 years of medical coding experience
• Must hold RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CPC, or COC
• US citizenship and ability to obtain public trust

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of ICD-10-CM, PCS and CPT coding principles, governmental regulations, official guidelines.
• Provide training and QA for coders on assigned facility.
• Review clinical documentation to extract data and apply correct codes.
• Oversee coding teams and resolve denials per payer guidelines.
• Prepare daily queue status reports and coordinate with IQC staff
