ProMedica Shared Services, LLC is seeking a Hospital Coding Supervisor to lead daily operations of the hospital coding team, overseeing workflow, staffing and performance while ensuring accurate and compliant ICD-10-CM/PCS, MS-DRG/APR-DRG coding.

This remote role requires an Associate degree in health information management, inpatient/outpatient coding experience, and RHIA/RHIT/CCS/CPC certification; salary range $41,600–$134,680, benefits begin day one, and employment is restricted to certain

Qualifications

• Associate degree in health information management or related field.
• Inpatient coding proficiency with ICD-10-CM/PCS, MS-DRG and APR-DRG methods.
• 1 year of inpatient or outpatient coding experience.
• RHIA, RHIT, CCA, CCS or CPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of hospital inpatient or outpatient coding team.
• Oversee workflow, staffing and performance while promoting compliant coding.
• Coach, develop and support team members; monitor productivity and quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders; implement process improvements and coding policies.
