Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Educator/Trainer to support PB Coding and Coding Integrity teams. The role includes developing and delivering education, creating materials, and coordinating training for coders and clinicians in a fully remote setting.

Qualified candidates will have recent coding experience, AHIMA/AAPC certifications, and strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS. 5 years of coding experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Recent production coding experience preferred.
• Specialty coding experience preferred across multiple areas.
• Typically requires 5 years of medical coding experience.

Responsibilities

• Presents coding and documentation education for initial training and continuing education to coders and clinicians.
• Develops and maintains coding education programs and materials.
• Schedules and coordinates education offerings across the organization using LMS/tools.
• Tracks progress and assesses effectiveness of training programs.
