Advocate Health is seeking an Educator/Trainer to support PB Coding and Coding Integrity teams. You will deliver coding education to coders and clinicians, both in-person and virtually, and maintain engaging educational programs across the organization.

The role emphasizes expert knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS, adult learning principles, and strong presentation skills. This is a fully remote, full-time position with a flexible schedule and comprehensive benefits.

Competenze

• Recent production coding and/or coding integrity experience preferred.
• Specialty coding experience preferred (surgical, anesthesia, pain management, hepatology, nephrology, anticoagulation, radiation oncology, interventional radiology, dental, and other physician specialties).
• Certification in coding required per AHIMA or AAPC bodies.
• 5 years of experience in medical coding including physician revenue cycle processes.

Mansioni

• Collaborate with Coding Leadership, IT leadership, and Revenue Cycle leadership.
• Present coding education to coders and clinicians, including in-person classes and virtual offerings.
• Identify coding educational needs and develop targeted programs and sessions.
• Stay current with adult learning concepts and manage education schedules and platforms.
• Develop and maintain web-based coding education programs with measurable outcomes.
