Job summary

Conduent is hiring a Call Center Representative – Medicaid Member Support. This full-time, remote-friendly role serves the South Carolina region within 60 miles of Columbia, SC, at $16.00 per hour, with a 40-hour work week and paid training.

You will handle Medicaid inquiries, guide members through applications, verify eligibility, document calls, and resolve issues while meeting performance goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of call center or telephone customer service experience preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment screening and speed/internet assessments.
• Ability to navigate multiple screens and use several programs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Medicaid member inquiries in a call center environment using standard scripts.
• Gather information, assess caller needs, research, and document calls.
• Provide information on member eligibility and assist with Medicaid applications and status updates.
• Follow policies on call handling and escalation.
• Advocate for Medicaid members to ensure needs are met.
