Groups Recover Together is hiring a Staff Provider (MD/DO/NP/PA) for remote work in Tennessee. You will deliver care via telemedicine, manage maintenance panels, and support early treatment with buprenorphine, while coordinating with diverse teams to ensure member safety and engagement.

The role emphasizes rapid-access intakes, regular follow-ups (monthly), and coverage for gaps in care, with a strong focus on HIPAA compliant documentation and cross-coverage for colleagues.

Qualifications

• Physician, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with active state license in good standing.
• Willing to become licensed in multiple other states where Groups operates.
• Credentialing with government and private health plans.
• Ability to see member in-person at several state locations.
• At least 1 year of experience managing OUD with buprenorphine.
• Team-based care experience with behavioral health providers.
• At least 2 years experience with a similar member population.
• Adequate internet connectivity to support telemedicine.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all clinical policies and procedures as outlined in the GRS Manual.
• Intake medical duties and rapid-access telemedicine intakes across geographies.
• Maintain a panel of maintenance members and attend monthly provider groups.
• Meet with patients prescribed buprenorphine at least every 30 days.
• Coordinate with community providers for transitions.
• Provide makeup groups and makeup 1:1 sessions.
• On-call coverage for urgent prescriptions.
• Maintain medical records per HIPAA and related laws.
