Job summary

Groups Recover Together is seeking a Staff Provider (MD/DO) to join a remote, multi-state medical team delivering rapid-access intakes and ongoing maintenance care for members in recovery. You will conduct intake visits, prescribe buprenorphine/naloxone when appropriate, and provide telemedicine-based care across Virginia, West Virginia, and neighboring markets.

Qualifications

• Physician, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with active state license in good standing.
• Willing to become licensed in multiple states where Groups operates.
• Credentialing with government and private health plans.
• Ability to see members in-person at multiple state locations.
• At least 1 year managing OUD with buprenorphine.
• At least 1 year in team-based care with behavioral health providers.
• At least 2 years with a similar member population.
• Reliable internet connectivity and home setup for telemedicine.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to clinical policies and procedures.
• Intake medical duties and rapid-access telemedicine intakes.
• Outpatient maintenance with monthly visits and dose management.
• Coordinate with community providers for member transitions.
• Maintain medical records per HIPAA and policy.
• Provide 1:1 and group sessions, as needed.
• On-call coverage and monitoring of prescription access.
