Groups Recover Together seeks a Staff Provider (CARN-AP or PMHNP) for remote telemedicine coverage in US-OH. Qualifications

• CARN-AP or PMHNP with active state license in good standing.
• Spanish speaking.
• Board Certified in Addiction Medicine.
• Willing and able to become licensed in multiple other states where Groups operates or will operate soon (with support and reimbursement from Groups).
• Willingness and ability to become credentialed with all government and private health plans with whom Groups Recover Together is in network.
• Ability to see member in-person at several state locations.
• At least 1 year of experience managing OUD with buprenorphine, preferably within the Groups Recovery System.
• At least 1 year experience working in a team-based-care setting with behavioral health providers (therapists, social workers, case managers, etc)
• At least 2 years experience working with a similar member population, preferably within primary care of behavioral health setting.
• Adequate internet connectivity to support telemedicine (if working from home).
• Access to reliable internet and telephone services, specifically 10M download and 5M upload package or higher, as well as a strong WiFi signal from your remote work location.
• Ability to demonstrate recovery-sensitive behaviors, including choice of language, attitudes and interactions with members and staff.
• Ability to maintain courteous and professional in all communications (verbal and written) with staff and members

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all clinical policies and procedures as outlined in the GRS Manual.
• Intake medical duties.
• Determine medical necessity and prescribe buprenorphine/naloxone as required, following policy.
• Maintain a regular schedule of intake shifts for rapid-access telemedicine across geographies.
• Complete intake documentation thoroughly and accurately.
• Initiate MAT during early weeks of treatment (weeks 1-4).
• Coordinate with community providers for transitions to Groups.
• Collaborate with providers to move members into regular maintenance groups.
• Escalate and address controversial situations with leadership.
• Maintenance duties: maintain a panel of maintenance members and meet monthly in groups.
• Medical Records: maintain HIPAA-compliant records and timely documentation.
• Misc medical duties: makeup groups and 1:1 sessions, cross-coverage, on-call coverage, monitor controlled substances via prescription monitoring database.
• Administrative duties (≈15%): high-quality documentation, sign prescriptions same day, manage schedule, training of new providers, pilot initiatives.
