Job summary

Blackthorn.io is seeking a Marketing Operations Engineer to own and optimize its marketing technology stack, including Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, and related tools. The role sits at the intersection of marketing, sales, and analytics, focusing on automation, data quality, and scalable processes.

You will build and improve marketing automation workflows, lead routing, segmentation, and nurture campaigns, while delivering accurate performance reporting and ROI insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in B2B marketing operations or a technical marketing ops role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce and marketing automation platforms.
• Experience with APIs, data integration, and automation workflows.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Qualified, Apollo, and similar tools.
• Ability to build dashboards and analyze marketing performance for attribution.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize the marketing technology stack and integrations across marketing, sales, and RevOps.
• Develop and improve lead routing, segmentation, nurture campaigns, and campaigns visibility.
• Build dashboards and reports for campaign performance, funnel metrics, and ROI.
• Manage website updates, landing pages, forms, and CMS interfaces with AI/no‑code tools.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and RevOps to improve conversion rates.
