Job summary

Blackthorn.io is seeking a Marketing Operations Engineer to own and optimize the systems, tools, and processes that power our marketing engine. You will integrate marketing, sales, and revops tech, build automation, and deliver accurate performance reporting across a global, remote-first team.

The role requires strong technical problem solving, experience with Salesforce and marketing automation platforms, and the ability to build scalable marketing operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B marketing operations or a similar technical role.
• Significant experience with MCP, AI tooling, Github operations, and self-reliance.
• Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce and marketing automation platforms.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Qualified, Apollo, and similar tools.
• Understanding of APIs, system integrations, data flows, and automation workflows.
• Experience managing websites, landing pages, forms, and CMS platforms.
• Ability to build dashboards, analyze marketing performance, and manage campaign attribution.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the marketing technology stack, including Salesforce, Marketing Cloud (Pardot), Qualified, Apollo, and related apps touching Marketing.
• Maintain and optimize integrations between marketing, sales, and revenue operations systems.
• Build and optimize marketing automation workflows, lead routing, segmentation, and nurture campaigns.
• Manage website updates, landing pages, and forms using AI-powered and no-code tools.
• Build dashboards and reports to track campaign performance, lead generation, funnel metrics, and marketing ROI.
• Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and quality across marketing platforms.
• Identify and resolve technical issues across marketing systems.
• Partner with marketing, sales, and revops teams to improve lead management and conversion rates.
