Job summary

Blackthorn is seeking a Marketing Operations Engineer to own and optimize the marketing tech stack, including Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, and related tools. You’ll build automated workflows, manage data flows, and deliver reliable reporting across marketing, sales, and revops.

You’ll work hands-on to maintain integrations, drive campaign automation, and partner across teams to improve lead management and funnel performance in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B marketing operations or a similar technical role.
• Significant experience with MCP, AI-tooling, Github operations, and self-reliance.
• Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce and marketing automation platforms.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Qualified, Apollo, and similar tools.
• Understanding of APIs, system integrations, data flows, and automation workflows.
• Experience managing websites, landing pages, forms, and CMS platforms.
• Ability to build dashboards, analyze marketing performance, and manage campaign attribution.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical projects from start to finish.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across marketing, sales, and revenue operations.
• Proactive, resourceful mindset with a willingness to learn new tools and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage our marketing technology stack, including Salesforce, Marketing Cloud (Pardot), Qualified, Apollo, aspects of the website, and any other app that touches Marketing.
• Maintain and optimize integrations between marketing, sales, and revenue operations systems.
• Build and improve marketing automation workflows, lead routing, segmentation, and nurture campaigns.
• Manage website updates, landing pages, and forms using AI-powered and no-code tools.
• Build dashboards and reports to track campaign performance, lead generation, funnel metrics, and marketing ROI.
• Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and quality across marketing platforms.
• Identify and resolve technical issues across marketing systems.
• Partner with marketing, sales, and revops teams to improve lead management and conversion rates.
