Insight is seeking a Market Development Executive III to drive growth in California SLED accounts. You will identify, qualify, and close technology opportunities while building strategic relationships with public sector organizations across the state.

The role focuses on cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity, and analytics solutions, requires 5–10 years in public sector tech sales, and offers base salary plus commission with flexible remote work options.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of technology sales in SLED markets.
• Proven record closing opportunities in CA public sector.
• Strong knowledge of government procurement and contracting.
• Microsoft Enterprise cloud sales exp; AWS/GCP a plus.
• Experience building executive-level customer relationships.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or IT, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end solutions from strategy to implementation.
• Develop territory growth strategies for CA SLED.
• Build relationships with government agencies and schools.
• Tailor cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity, and analytics solutions.
• Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to close.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to align solutions with procurement.
