Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or networking-based relationship building.
• Proven track record of building and growing a professional network.
• Experience in professional services, accounting, finance, or a related B2B environment a plus.
• Existing network or ties within ALC's target market(s) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as ALC's primary representative within an assigned geographic market, building long-term visibility, credibility, and relationships that position ALC as a trusted accounting, finance, and HR partner.
• Build, expand, and maintain an active, high-value network of contacts, connectors, and centers of influence that consistently generates qualified opportunities.
• Represent ALC at chamber events, industry associations, conferences, and community functions; pursue committee participation, leadership opportunities, and speaking engagements.
• Identify, build, and manage a strategic referral ecosystem of attorneys, bankers, wealth advisors, consultants, private equity professionals, insurance advisors, payroll providers, technology partners, and other trusted advisors.
• Provide ongoing feedback to leadership on market trends, competitor activity, pricing observations, and prospective client needs.
• Convert networking and referral activity into qualified opportunities, transitioning them to the Director with complete prospect context — progressively taking on discovery, scoping, proposal development, and client acquisition as proficiency grows.
• Log networking activity, contacts, and referral relationships in the CRM consistently and accurately.
