Job summary

Motorola Solutions, with Silvus Technologies as a subsidiary, is seeking a Business Development Engineer for US Marine Corps programs. You will bridge RF capabilities with Marine Corps requirements, supporting engineering and business development in field tests, trials, and demonstrations across expeditionary environments.

Travel up to 50% is required, with a 100% remote option depending on location. You will contribute to product roadmaps by translating field feedback into actionable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field; 2–5 years in systems engineering, technical BD, or defense tech roles.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing, or tactical comms systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and map MARFOR/ECOS network goals to radio solutions.
• Support field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations.
• Collaborate with BD to align tech needs with strategic priorities.
• Build and present demos for expeditionary and tactical edge networking.
• Perform market research on partner integrations and end-to-end architectures.
• Engage with MARCSYCOM, MCWL, PEO Land Systems, and naval warfare centers.
