Job summary

Motorola Solutions, through its Silvus Technologies subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer for the US Marine Corps. The role bridges RF capabilities with Marine Corps requirements, supporting field tests and demonstrations across expeditionary, littoral, ground, and airborne environments.

The position involves collaborating with Applications Engineering and Business Development teams, presenting technical demos, and contributing to RFI/RFP responses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related C5ISR field; 2–5 years of relevant experience or High School Diploma with 5+ years of experience.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing, or tactical communication systems.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USMC operational priorities and map requirements to radio solutions.
• Support field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations.
• Collaborate with Engineering and BD to ensure technically sound architectures.
• Work with MARCORSYSCOM, MCWL, PEO Land Systems, and naval centers to engage technical stakeholders.
• Translate field feedback into product roadmap inputs and track progress against needs.
• Travel up to 50% for field tests and demonstrations; remote work possible depending on location.
