Overview.ai is hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) in the United States to drive outbound selling into manufacturing sectors. You will identify and qualify opportunities, map accounts, and hand off qualified use cases to Vision Sales Engineers for technical evaluation.

Expect to operate with a highly collaborative team, building workflows and tools that improve efficiency. You’ll work remotely across the continental US, with targets in core industrial markets.

Qualifications

• Experience in outbound sales or SDR/BDR roles.
• Strong phone and outbound outreach skills.
• Able to learn technical concepts quickly.
• Strategic thinking to map manufacturing prospects.
• Proactive in building automations and tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage manufacturing prospects across the United States: automotive suppliers, electronics manufacturers, industrial OEMs, and others.
• Map accounts, understand plant outputs, and plan expansion from one facility to several.
• Identify decision makers and tailor outreach based on inspection challenges solved for similar companies.
• Qualify opportunities ruthlessly and maintain clean CRM activity.
• Partner with Vision Sales Engineers for meaningful use cases and clear handoffs.
• Keep HubSpot up-to-date with detailed notes and activity logs.
• Test messaging, track resonance, and share learnings with the team.
• Build tools, workflows, or agents to automate repetitive prospecting tasks.
