Job summary

Ensono is seeking a Mainframe Systems Programmer with expertise in CICS TS and WAS to support our mainframe clients in a remote US role. The position emphasizes installing, testing, and maintaining z/OS system software, with a focus on performance monitoring and problem resolution.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on mainframe experience, strong knowledge of CICS TS concepts, SMP/E tooling, and excellent communication skills to work independently and in a team, across time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years on the zSeries mainframe with hands-on CICS TS / WAS and OEM product support.
• Thorough knowledge of CICS TS and installation/tailoring of CICS TS and related OEM products.
• Strong knowledge of IBM SMP/E.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill CSOs for mainframe z/OS customers related to CICS TS.
• Provide primary support for CICS TS / WAS issues and related OEM software.
• Offer 24x7x365 support across multiple time zones.
• Assist migrations and disaster recovery activities for customers.
