Job summary

Ensono is seeking a Mainframe Systems Programmer with strong CICS TS and WAS expertise to support z/OS environments. The role involves installation, testing, and maintenance of system software, plus participation in migrations and DR planning, across multiple time zones.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years on the zSeries platform, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years on the zSeries mainframe with hands-on experience in CICS TS / WAS.
• Deep knowledge of CICS TS and related OEM products and tailoring.
• Strong SMP/E experience.
• Analytical skills and understanding of CICS TS concepts.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill CSOs for z/OS customers related to CICS TS and OEM products.
• Provide primary support for CICS TS / WAS issues.
• Provide 24x7x365 support across multiple time zones.
• Install, upgrade and tailor CICS TS and OEM products.
• Assist migrations and disaster recovery tasks with project teams.
