Job summary
Ensono is seeking a Mainframe Systems Programmer to provide premium support for CICS and WAS across US clients. The role emphasizes installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of z/OS system software and OEM products.
You will coordinate upgrades and migrations, and work with disaster recovery initiatives, often in a remote-capable environment. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of mainframe experience, strong CICS TS/WAS knowledge, and solid SMP/E skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years experience on the zSeries mainframe with hands-on CICS TS/WAS.
- Thorough CICS TS knowledge and OEM product tailoring.
- Experience with IBM SMP/E distribution and installation.
- Strong analytical skills and problem solving in CICS TS.
Responsibilities
- Fulfill CSOs for z/OS customers related to CICS TS and OEM software.
- Provide primary support for CICS TS/WAS related issues 24x7.
- Install, upgrade, and tune mainframe system software per best practices.
- Coordinate hardware readiness with MF teams and migrations.
- Support disaster recovery planning and testing with teams.
