Beacon Hill's client in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking a 2nd Shift Logistics Customer Service Specialist to support transportation operations and deliver exceptional service to customers and carriers. This contract role offers a mainly remote setup with one in-office day per month and a training period onsite for three weeks.

Responsibilities include order entry, shipment tracking, invoicing, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet performance goals.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience.
• At least a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience working in a call center, logistics, transportation, or customer support environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily transportation activities, including order entry, appointment scheduling, shipment tracking, and invoice processing while adhering to established procedures.
• Monitor shared inboxes and task queues to respond efficiently to customer and carrier inquiries.
• Record shipment events, resolve issues, and follow escalation protocols to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Review and maintain shipment information to ensure accuracy and compliance with customer and company requirements.
• Partner with teammates and cross-functional teams to help achieve operational performance goals and service standards.
