Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a dedicated Mortgage Servicing Associate to support special loan products from a remote, home-based team. You will handle ARM-related tasks, SCRA protections, and loan modifications, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations while keeping servicing records accurate.

Familiarity with loan documentation, strong Microsoft Word/Excel skills, and 1–2 years of mortgage servicing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with mortgage servicing and special loan products.
• Ability to understand and communicate routine information clearly.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work.

Responsibilities

• Review service release loans for proper documentation prior to release.
• Maintain ARM contracts and indices; update balloon plans and interest rate indexes when needed.
• Audit pending payment changes and ensure accurate notifications.
• Assist other departments with loan-related inquiries and modifications.
• Identify loans eligible for SCRA protections and manage coverage letters.
