Job summary
Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a remote Mortgage Servicing Specialist to provide ongoing support for special loan products, including modifications, ARMs, SCRA adjustments, and assumptions. The role requires familiarity with loan documentation, 1–2 years of servicing experience, and proficiency in Excel/Word.
Starting pay is $19–$23 per hour, with comprehensive benefits. You will review, audit, and update servicing data, assist with loss mitigation, and ensure compliance with SCRA
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
- 1–2 years mortgage servicing experience.
- Experience with special loan product types or mortgage documentation preferred.
- Ability to understand, remember and communicate routine information.
Responsibilities
- Review service release loans for proper documentation before release.
- Maintain ARM contracts, indexes, and balloon plans in the system.
- Audit payment changes and ensure notifications are accurate.
- Support Home Retention and Loss Mitigation with modification issues.
- Update data fields in servicing system for compliance and changes.
- Process partial releases, subordinations, and other requests; obtain approvals.
