Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a remote loan servicing specialist to support special loan products, including modifications, ARM loans, SCRA adjustments, and assumptions. The role involves ensuring compliant documentation, updating servicing systems, and coordinating with the Mortgage Lending Division.

The starting pay is $19-$23 per hour, with opportunities to contribute to the servicing portfolio and ensure accurate payment calculations. Prior mortgage servicing experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Mortgage servicing knowledge and familiarity with special loan product types.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
• Some college education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review service release loans for proper documentation.
• Manage ARM contracts, indices, and balloon plans in the system.
• Audit pending payment changes and ensure notifications are accurate.
• Support Home Retention/Loss Mitigation and modification-related issues.
• Identify loans that meet SCRA protection and issue letters as needed.
• Maintain daily index values and ARM indices for accurate payments.
• Follow up with lending division on assumptions and approvals.
• Run scripts for modifications completed by Loss Mitigation and implement corrections.
