Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Practice Innovation Attorney to drive innovation within the Litigation Practice Centers. The role focuses on knowledge management, AI-enabled workflows, and practical solutions that improve service delivery while preserving attorney judgment.

Working remotely, you will collaborate with partners, attorneys, and business teams to translate needs into scalable assets, prototypes, and repeatable processes that enhance client value and efficiency across matters.

Qualifications

• J.D. and a 4-year degree in a relevant field are required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a practicing attorney or in knowledge management, innovation, or legal operations.
• Demonstrated experience with legal technology, generative AI, knowledge management principles, and process improvement.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence and drive change without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead innovation, knowledge management, and workflow improvement projects for the Litigation PSC from concept through implementation.
• Develop client-facing solutions, alternative service delivery models, and other strategic innovation initiatives.
• Support client presentations, demonstrations, and business development efforts showcasing the firm’s Practice Innovation capabilities.
• Measure and communicate the impact of initiatives using adoption metrics and lessons learned.
• Coordinate with technology and business teams to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.
