Job summary

Reserv is seeking a Litigation Claims Examiner to manage litigated auto claims, attend trials, mediations, and arbitrations, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to drive process improvements.

You will investigate claims, evaluate liability and damages, negotiate settlements, and maintain electronic files while reporting to the Claims Manager. A strong customer-focused, proactive, and collaborative mindset is essential for success in a fast-paced, remote role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; lack of degree not necessarily a blocker if other qualifications are met.
• 10+ years of claim handling experience, with substantial litigation-focused workload.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigated cases and oversee legal process and expenses.
• Analyze auto claims to identify disputes, gather information, evaluate liability and damages.
• Negotiate and settle claims with opposing parties or insurers.
• Attend mediations, arbitrations, and trials; communicate with clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with defense counsel, claims counsel, and vendors for strategic planning.
• Review legal documents and ensure compliance with handling plans.
• Direct outside vendors and manage costs; maintain licenses and CE requirements.
