Job summary

Reserv Claims Analysis, LLC is seeking a highly motivated Litigation Claims Examiner to manage litigated auto claims, attend trials, mediations, and arbitrations, and lead discovery with attorneys. You will gather information, evaluate liability and damages, and negotiate settlements while maintaining electronic files and reporting to Claims Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; lack of one should not stop you if you possess other qualifications.
• 10+ years of claim handling experience, with 5+ in litigation.
• Transportation litigation preferred; personal lines experience considered.
• Not intimidated by attorneys; lead discovery and litigation strategy.
• Active adjuster license(s) and willingness to obtain more within 45 days.
• Strong knowledge of transportation coverages and contractual risk transfer.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigated cases, including evaluation of legal processes and expenses.
• Analyze auto claims to identify disputes, gather information, evaluate liability/damages.
• Negotiate and settle claims with opposing parties or insurers.
• Attend mediations/arbitrations and report to Claims Manager.
• Collaborate with defense, claims, and litigation management for planning.
• Review documents for compliance with action plans; corporate deposition roles.
• Direct outside vendors and maintain licenses; ensure timely learning and growth.
