Job summary

Warrior Insurance Network is seeking an experienced Litigation Claims Specialist to handle litigated and complex auto liability claims. You will determine coverage, secure statements, manage investigations, and coordinate with defense counsel and experts.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years of auto claims handling and at least 5 years of full-file auto claims experience for remote work consideration. Strong negotiation, regulatory knowledge, and licensing ability are required.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of auto claims handling experience.
• 5 years minimum of full file auto claims experience for fully remote work consideration.
• Knowledge of legal and medical terminology.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass written examinations to become a licensed claim adjuster.

Responsibilities

• Handle litigation claims in accordance with established procedures.
• Determine coverage and draft reservations of rights letters.
• Conduct thorough investigations with statements, reports, photos and records.
• Litigation management with defense counsel and experts.
• Maintain diary on all open files and manage expenses.
• Research case law, statutes, and coverage forms for adjustment.
• Assess use of experts and field investigators.
• Maintain claim files and document activity per regs and policies.
• Prepare and present claim evaluations to obtain settlement authority.
• Establish indemnity and expense reserves.
• Review defense counsel onsite as required.
• Adhere to state Department of Insurance regulations.
