Opendoor is building a remote Listing Partner team in Illinois for professionals with an active Illinois real estate license. You’ll learn our playbook, master our tools, and build strong negotiation and communication skills to handle a high volume of listings and contracts with confidence.

You’ll be supported with training, clear processes, and coaching as you ramp. This role offers a clear path to growth within a fast-moving real estate platform focused on homeowner outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong negotiation and communication skills; explain terms clearly and advocate for clients.
• Ability to transact at high volume, stay organized, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
• Ownership mindset and cross-functional collaboration to resolve issues with title, inspections, HOA, lender and internal ops.

Responsibilities

• Own offer-to-close communications with buyer’s agents as the primary contact throughout the transaction.
• Negotiate offers and terms (price, concessions, repairs, timelines) within Opendoor guidelines.
• Oversee transactions to close by deadline by coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
• Manage repair negotiations by reviewing inspection reports and presenting data-backed counters.
• Maintain high-quality documentation in internal systems for status visibility.
• Monitor portfolio health for assigned listings and escalate when needed.
• Deliver excellent agent and buyer experiences through proactive communication and follow-up.
• Adopt and champion new tools and processes designed to boost productivity and deal quality.
