Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Life Wholesaler to market life insurance products through brokerage general agencies and financial professionals across the Northwest region. The role emphasizes consultative sales and relationship building with top brokers and partners.

Position requires licenses and licenses may need to be acquired within a set period. Field travel is expected, with a work-from-home sales office environment and frequent travel across WA, OR, ID, UT, and CO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in business, finance, communications or liberal arts.
• FINRA Series 6 or 7, Series 63 required; licenses may be required within designated period.
• 1–3 years internal wholesaling experience and 1–3 years external wholesaling experience of financial service products.

Responsibilities

• Manages key distribution partner relationships across assigned geographic territory.
• Provides support and expertise to key distribution partners including meetings, webinars, and social media.
• Uses a consultative approach to identify customer needs and lead to product recommendations.
• Regularly assesses partners to understand their business needs and expectations.
• Advocates for partners to ensure their needs and concerns are understood within Nationwide.
