Job summary

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company seeks a Regional Wholesaler - Life to promote and sell life insurance products through brokerage networks across the Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah and Colorado territory. The role emphasizes consultative selling, relationship management and continuous market analysis.

You will train distribution partners, analyze client needs, and drive territory production with data-driven strategies while maintaining compliance and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher non-technical degree in business/finance/communications or liberal arts preferred.
• FINRA Series 6 or 7 and Series 63; State Life/Annuity licenses required; other designations preferred.
• 1–3 years internal and 1–3 years external wholesaling experience with financial products.
• Strong math, finance, statistics, economics knowledge and investment principles.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication; strong presentation skills; CE teaching ability.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with distribution partners across assigned territory.
• Provide expert support via meetings, webinars, and digital channels.
• Analyze client needs to recommend life insurance solutions.
• Present products and solutions to brokers and financial professionals.
• Track territory activity and update sales management weekly.
• Deliver training on products, underwriting, licensing and processes.
