Job summary

Nationwide Financial is seeking a Life Wholesaler to promote life insurance products through diverse distribution partners. The role emphasizes relationship building, consultative sales and training, within a multi-state retail network around the Northwest.

You will manage partner relations, deliver product trainings, and drive territory sales through strategic planning and data-driven outreach, with emphasis on Seattle and surrounding markets.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate studies in business, finance, communications or liberal arts preferred.
• License/Certification: FINRA Series 6 or 7, Series 63 required; state Life/Annuity licenses required.
• CLU, ChFC, FLMI, CFP, ASPPA, CLTC designations preferred; licenses/registrations must be pursued.
• 1–3 years of internal and external wholesaling experience in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Manages key distribution partner relationships across assigned geographic territory.
• Provides support and expertise to key distribution partners via meetings, webinars, and social posts.
• Uses a consultative approach to identify customer needs and recommend products.
• Assesses partners to understand business needs and opportunities.
• Advocates for partners to align marketing strategy and product questions.
• Applies a business-plan approach to drive territory sales activity and goals.
• Analyzes data from multiple sources to drive multi-touch outreach.
• Maintains timely activity updates to sales management.
• Delivers training on products, sales concepts, and licensing requirements.
• Documents territory activities to meet company objectives.
