Job summary

Molecular Devices, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Key Account Manager to drive sales across the Bioresearch platform in a multi-state US territory. The role includes managing instrumentation, software, and services for researchers in academia, biotech, pharma, and government.

The position supports remote work with coverage for WI, MN, NE, ND, and SD, requiring field activity and collaboration with distribution partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher.
• Minimum of 5 years of field sales experience in life sciences or drug discovery.
• Experience in PowerPoint, Excel, Word & Salesforce.com CRM.

Responsibilities

• Achieve territory revenue goals for the product platform in the assigned territory.
• Proactively prospect for new customers and opportunities, minimum 3 days working in the field.
• Must be proficient in the use of SFDC with the ability to maintain accurate and timely account data, sales opportunity progression updates, and F2F activities.
• Performing technical demonstrations, training, installations, customer support on equipment & software as well as attending and participating in Regional and Local Product Shows
• Generate accurate weekly/monthly/quarterly forecasts for the assigned territory. Monitor territory metrics and lead generation activities.
