The Wood Agency Life is seeking a remote, 1099 independent-contractor life insurance sales professional. You will connect with families who requested coverage information, guiding them from initial contact through to a completed application.

This role emphasizes listening over pitching, handling multiple cases, and using CRM for tracking. Access exclusive leads, receive mentorship from Ben and Andrea, and operate within a nationwide network of carriers.

Qualifications

• Experience selling by phone in inside sales, telesales, or a call center.
• State life insurance license or plan to get licensed before first sale.
• Comfortable with long conversations about serious topics, not quick transactions.

Responsibilities

• Make first contact with people who asked about coverage and schedule a longer conversation.
• Open with questions instead of a pitch.
• Present options by phone or video and complete the application in the same appointment.
• Keep several open cases moving without losing track of any of them.
• Log every call and follow-up task in the CRM as it happens.
• Use team call reviews to sharpen your approach over time.
