Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking self-motivated individuals for a 100% remote, 1099 life insurance sales role. You will engage families who requested information, conduct in-depth conversations, and guide them through applications by phone or video.

Candidates should enjoy in-depth discussions about sensitive topics and maintain steady follow-up in a CRM. As an independent contractor, you’ll operate with access to exclusive leads and mentorship from Ben and Andrea, while navigating underwriting

Qualifications

• Must hold a state life insurance license or have a plan to obtain licensing before your first sale.
• Comfortable with long conversations about serious topics, not quick transactions.
• Authorized to work in the United States (18+).
• Experience selling by phone or in inside sales, telesales, or call centers.
• Familiar with logging interactions in a CRM and following up diligently.

Responsibilities

• Make first contact with people who asked about coverage and schedule a longer conversation.
• Open with questions rather than a pitch, enabling families to talk first.
• Present options by phone or video and complete the application in the same appointment.
• Keep several cases moving without losing track of any.
• Log every call and follow-up task in the CRM as it happens.
• Use team call reviews to sharpen your approach over time.
