Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking an experienced, 1099 independent-contractor life insurance sales professional who can work remotely with families who requested coverage information, guiding them from first contact to completed application.

In this role you will focus on listening over pitching, maintain momentum across multiple cases, log activity in the CRM, and leverage exclusive lead systems while benefiting from direct mentorship from Ben and Andrea.

Qualifications

• Experience selling by phone in inside sales or telesales.
• Comfortable with long conversations about serious topics.
• Consistent follow-up without prompting.
• State life insurance license or plan to get licensed before first sale.
• Familiar with web-based quoting tools and a CRM.
• Must be at least 18 and authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Make first contact with people who asked about coverage and schedule a longer conversation
• Open with questions instead of a pitch, so the family does most of the talking
• Present options by phone or video and complete the application in the same appointment
• Keep several open cases moving without losing track of any of them
• Log every call and follow-up task in the CRM as it happens
• Use team call reviews to sharpen your approach over time
