The Wood Agency Life is seeking an inside sales professional for a 100% remote, independent-contractor role focused on life insurance. You’ll build a robust sales pipeline, schedule calls, present options from multiple carriers, and guide clients from discovery to policy issue.

Work from home, with mentorship from Ben and Andrea, the people who run the agency. Applicants must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Inside sales experience in insurance or financial services.
• Ability to explain products clearly to hesitant buyers.
• Experience following up without manager prompts.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and hold phone/video appointments with clients.
• Present options from multiple carriers.
• Complete applications during calls and move cases to underwriting.
• Log conversations and next steps in CRM.
• Keep clients updated during underwriting.
• Stay current on state life insurance rules.
