Job summary

The Wood Agency Life in the United States is seeking an inside sales professional for a 100% remote, 1099 independent-contractor role focused on life insurance. You will build a sales pipeline, perform discovery, present options, and close on the call.

You’ll work with exclusive leads, have access to mentorship from Ben and Andrea, and participate in weekly team calls. A state life license or plan to obtain one before first sale is required; 18+ and authorized to work in the US.

Qualifications

• Inside sales, account management, or business development experience.
• Comfortable following a pipeline and doing follow-ups without prompting.
• Able to explain a product someone has never bought before.
• State life license or plan to sit the exam before first sale.
• Remote work ready: computer, phone, and reliable internet.
• At least 18 and authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and hold back-to-back appointments by phone and video.
• Open with discovery, then present options across multiple carriers.
• Complete the application on the call, then carry the case to policy issue.
• Log every conversation and next step in the CRM as it happens.
• Keep clients informed while the carrier reviews the application.
• Stay sharp on product details and state insurance rules.
