The Wood Agency Life is seeking an Inside Sales professional for a 100% remote, 1099 independent-contractor role focused on life insurance. You will build a pipeline, conduct discovery calls, and guide families through the application process with multiple carriers.

Ideal candidates have inside sales or business development experience, can explain complex products, maintain CRM logs, and are legally allowed to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• State life insurance license or plan to sit the exam before first sale.
• Experience in inside sales or business development.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and hold back-to-back appointments by phone and video.
• Open with discovery, then present options across multiple carriers.
• Complete the application on the call, then carry the case to policy issue.
• Log every conversation and next step in the CRM as it happens.
• Keep clients informed while the carrier reviews the application.
• Stay sharp on product details and state insurance rules.
