Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking an inside sales contractor for a 100% remote, 1099 life insurance sales role. You’ll work a full pipeline, schedule back-to-back appointments by phone and video, and guide families through carrier options.

You’ll log every conversation in the CRM, stay sharp on product details and state rules, and participate in weekly calls and mentorship with Ben and Andrea. A state life insurance license is required or you must plan to sit the exam before your first sale.

Qualifications

• Experience in inside sales, account management, or business development.
• Able to manage a sales pipeline and follow up independently.
• State life insurance license or plan to sit the exam before first sale.
• Remote work setup: computer, phone, reliable internet.
• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and hold back-to-back appointments by phone and video.
• Present options across multiple carriers after discovery.
• Complete the application on the call, then carry the case to policy issue.
• Log conversations and next steps in the CRM as they happen.
• Keep clients informed while the carrier reviews the application.
• Stay sharp on product details and state insurance rules.
