Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking an inside sales professional for a fully remote, 1099 independent-contractor role in life insurance sales. You will build a pipeline, handle appointments by phone and video, and move cases from discovery to policy issue while logging every step in the CRM.

Ideal candidates have inside sales or business development experience, a life license or plan to obtain one, and can explain products across multiple carriers from anywhere in the United States.

Qualifications

• Inside sales or business development experience.
• Licensed in life insurance or plan to obtain license before first sale.
• Comfortable remote work and CRM logging.
• Ability to explain products across multiple carriers.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and hold back-to-back appointments by phone and video.
• Open with discovery, then present options across multiple carriers.
• Complete the application on the call, then carry the case to policy issue.
• Log every conversation and next step in the CRM as it happens.
• Keep clients informed while the carrier reviews the application.
• Stay sharp on product details and state insurance rules.
