Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking an inside sales professional for a 100% remote, 1099 independent-contractor life insurance sales role. You will build a pipeline, schedule appointments, and guide clients through the application process.

Work from home with exclusive carrier access and mentorship from Ben and Andrea; earnings are commission-based with no base salary. You must hold a state life insurance license or plan to sit the exam before your first sale.

Qualifications

• Inside sales or account management experience is required.
• Ability to manage a pipeline and follow up without prompting.
• Explain a product that customers may not have bought before.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and hold back-to-back appointments by phone and video.
• Open with discovery, then present options across multiple carriers.
• Complete the application on the call, then carry the case to policy issue.
• Log every conversation and next step in the CRM as it happens.
• Keep clients informed while the carrier reviews the application.
• Stay sharp on product details and state insurance rules.
