Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking motivated Inside Sales professionals for a 100% remote, 1099 life insurance sales role. You'll build and manage a sales pipeline, schedule calls, present options, and guide clients from discovery to policy issue.

This contractor position rewards performance with commissions; a state life insurance license or plan to obtain one is required, and you must be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Inside sales or related experience in business development.
• Ability to manage a sales pipeline and follow up independently.
• Explain life insurance products clearly to customers.
• State life insurance license or plan to sit the exam before first sale.
• Fully remote work setup: computer, phone, reliable internet.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States (18+).

Responsibilities

• Schedule and hold back-to-back appointments by phone and video.
• Open with discovery, present options across multiple carriers.
• Complete the application on the call and guide to policy issue.
• Log every conversation and next step in the CRM.
• Keep clients informed during carrier underwriting.
• Stay sharp on product details and state insurance rules.
