Job summary

EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) seeks a Customer Proposals Specialist II to craft compelling responses to RFPs for the FOLIO Library Services Platform and related SaaS solutions. You will combine library know-how with strong research and writing to translate complex requirements into clear proposals.

Collaborating with Sales, Product Management, and Implementation teams, you will manage proposal projects and ensure high-quality, compliant outcomes that meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a sales or corporate environment with proven communications/writing experience.
• 2+ years of professional writing, research, project coordination, or proposal development.

Responsibilities

• Develop technically accurate, customer-focused responses to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, proposals, clarifications and other procurement documents for FOLIO and related EBSCO SaaS solutions.
• Analyze customer requirements to identify response needs, gaps, clarification questions, and SME input areas.
• Research FOLIO capabilities, library workflows, integrations, implementation approaches, and related EBSCO solutions to draft complete proposals.
• Coordinate proposal projects from review through submission, including requirements analysis, assignments, timelines and quality review.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Implementation, Technical Support, Information Security, Legal and other SMEs to address complex requirements.
• Translate technical product information and library concepts into customer-focused language.
• Maintain repository content by updating responses as products evolve.
• Review content for accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
