Job summary

EBSCO Information Services, Inc. seeks a Customer Proposals Specialist II to craft precise responses to RFPs and RFIs for the FOLIO Library Services Platform and related SaaS offerings.

You will combine library expertise with writing and project management to deliver compelling proposals. You will collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Implementation, and other SMEs to ensure accurate, customer-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

• MLS/MLIS or equivalent graduate library degree required.
• 2+ years in writing, research, project coordination, or proposal development.
• Experience interpreting detailed information and communicating across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop technically accurate, customer-focused responses to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and related procurement documents for FOLIO and related EBSCO SaaS solutions.
• Analyze customer requirements to identify response needs, gaps, clarifications, and SME input.
• Research FOLIO capabilities, library workflows, integrations, and implementation approaches to create complete responses.
• Coordinate proposal projects from review to submission, including timelines and quality reviews.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Implementation, Technical Support, Information Security, Legal, and other SMEs.
• Translate technical product information into clear language focused on customer needs and outcomes.
• Maintain reusable FOLIO content in the RFP repository and update as products evolve.
• Review content for accuracy, consistency, completeness, and grammar.
